The 4 Stages

Lamb Wooly POV:

I've went through a course last week.
Not that great a course, but I've managed to take away some knowledge from there.
It is held by WDA on relationship and communication management, which was more touching on how to identify different styles of working and to improve your working relationship with co-workers.

In the course, the trainer shared that as long as there are 2 or more individuals forming a group - be it at a workplace or in a family/ relationship, there are 4 basic stages of which the individuals come together.
It is much likened to a mini life-cycle. Should at any point of time when 1 individual leaves or join the group, the whole balance changes and the grouping cycle starts all over again...

Stage 1: Forming
(stage where the individuals are still in the discovery stage. A little excitement, curiosity and finding out about one another.)

Stage 2: Storming
(stage where the individuals are at each other's throats and the flaws seem extremely jarring to the other.
This is the stage where alot of politics, mind games and arguments take place, simply because the individuals can't stand each other's face / guts / attitude / everything under the sun.)

Stage 3: Norming
(stage of normalcy and complacency. Where the individuals know each other's strengths and weaknesses and are just tolerating one another, rather than to fight with each other)

Stage 4: Performing
(stage where the individuals are able to complement each other's strengths and weaknesses and work well together to deliver results)

Mr Lion says he feels that we are always going back and forth between the stages of "Storming" and "Norming"....and doesn't feel that we are moving ahead. Says a lot huh?

But you don't eat lamb..what happened?

Sheep's POV:

As you can see the difference in the type size, this is moi.
My eyes are bleary, I want to sleep...but I've promised to blog.
So we went for a carnivorous dinner the other night.
I've attached Mr R's (the lion's) meal.
It's a potterhouse cut, saw the hungry lion chow down of almost half a KG of beef, and felt stuffed after that.

About a month back, when I was talking about yummny lambchops,
Ms Ru remarked wide eyed: "But you don't eat lamb..what happened??"
I replied "Aston's happened".
True, I didn't think I can even eat lamb or anything remotely goat or sheep.
But oh, Aston's do a pretty neat job for grilling up fatty lamb chops that sizzle
and crackle and screams "Bon appetite" at you.

Ok, so these visuals are not from Aston's but "Fine cuts", a little carnivorous 20 seater at the basement of Central Shopping Mall. For those who are delighted at the sight of
raw meats and fine cuts, head down there! Yes, I actually know of individuals (not naming names here) who salivate at raw marbled Wagyu or
wafer thin Shabu Kurobuta pork. =p So enjoy!

Is it True Love

Sometimes you hear from people that most marriages come together not out of true love, but from tolerence for the other person.
Its like the one true love you have you don't pick, you pick the one you can tolerate as your life partner.
So I went about asking Sheep in one of our nightly sleep talks.

Lion "Do you Love me?"
Lamb "Yes, Why?"
Lion "You pick me to be your life partner because you truly love me or cause i am toleratable?"
Lamb " Well i can't tolerate you so what do think...."

Well here is a picture of true love.

The Difference of Fire and Water

Well opening post from the Rabbit POV.
Introductions are called for i guess. We are a couple that have been together for a good few years. We have know each other for a great many more. Our first foray at trying to be a pair crashed and burn pretty fast. Much faster than Usain Bolt can finish the 50m.... as much as i can remember. We are as different as cheese and chalk. introvert and extrovert, well you get the point.I will further elebroate on the finer points of our difference in future posting. but i think this picture says alot.I know she might not agree
but what the hell muhahaha...

and so the lion fell in love with the lamb

What a silly lamb - What a sick, masochistic lion.

Ok, so Mr R spoke to me about having a pet project, to set up a joint blog thingey. Knowing how “incredibly tech savvy” he is, I’ve taken a stab at this.

So, yes, you Twillight fans out there would have sniffed out the quote from afar. Mr R just thought the quote sounded a whole like the both of us. A kinda queer pair. So here we are, welcome to our blog.

Conversation today went.
Lamb: “Are you sure?? You really want to name this as the blog title?? Such a long name…’THE LION AND THE LAMB’…, you don’t think its too long?
Lion: “Yah, why not??”
Lamb: “Shit, the name “thelionandthelamb” is taken. Cannot use! Argh…
Thus the name “roaringwool” is founded by the lamb.
